Total trade for the month of September 2024 was BND1,989.2 million, comprising exports valued at BND1,165.5 million and imports amounting to BND823.7 million. This represented a decrease of 13.6 per cent year-on-year (y-o-y) from BND2,302.5 million in September 2023.
The trade balance recorded a decrease of 45.7 per cent to BND341.8 million (September 2024) from BND629.1 million in September 2023.
On a month-on-month (m-o-m) basis, total trade also recorded a decrease of 1.8 per cent from BND2,025.8 million (August 2024) to BND1,989.2 million in September 2024.
