Total trade for the month of February 2024 was BND2,405.5 million, comprising exports valued at BND1,547.3 million and imports amounting to BND858.2 million. This represented an increase of 11.8 per cent year-on-year (y-o-y) from BND2,151.9 million in February 2023.
The trade balance also recorded an increase of 86.9 per cent to BND689.1 million (February 2024) from BND368.7 million in February 2023.
On a month-on-month (m-o-m) basis, total trade recorded an increase of 10.8 per cent from BND2,171.0million (January 2024) to BND2,405.5 million in February 2024.
