Statistics of International Trade in Services
Latest Highlights 2023
In 2023, the total trade in services was valued at BND2,662.6 million, an increase of 36.8 per cent compared to 32.0 per cent in 2022, constituting about 13.1 per cent of the Gross Domestic Product at current prices. The exports and imports of services also increased by 17.6 per cent and 41.6 per cent, respectively. The growth of exports of services was mainly due to the increase in Travel services, and Telecommunications, computers and information services. Concurrently, the increase in imports of services was driven by services under Travel, and Maintenance and repairs.
