Consumer Price Index

In January 2026, the overall Consumer Price Index (CPI) has decreased by 0.2 per cent year-on-year, from 105.9 in January 2025 to 105.7. The Food and Non-Alcoholic Beverages index registered an increase of 0.2 per cent, while the Non-Food index decreased by 0.3 per cent. Meanwhile, the Goods index increased by 0.1 per cent, while the Services index recorded a decrease of 0.6 per cent.

Compared to December 2025, the CPI has decreased by 0.7 per cent on a month-on-month basis. The Food and Non-Alcoholic Beverages index increased by 0.1 per cent, while the Non-Food index decreased by 0.9 per cent.
