Brunei Darussalam’s economy contracted by 0.3 per cent year-on-year (y-o-y) in the second quarter of 2025 (Q2 2025). The decline was mainly attributed to a 1.8 per cent decrease in the Non-Oil and Gas Sector. However, the Oil and Gas Sector recorded positive growth of 1.5 per cent.
