Brunei Darussalam’s economy contracted by 1.1 per cent year-on-year (y-o-y) in the fourth quarter of 2024 (Q4 2024), mainly due to a 5.2 per cent decline in the performance of the Oil and Gas Sector. Meanwhile, the Non-Oil and Gas Sector expanded by 2.7 per cent.
