Latest Highlights                September 2025

In September 2025, the overall Consumer Price Index (CPI) has increased by 0.03 per cent year-on-year, from 106.25 in September 2024 to 106.28. The Food and Non-Alcoholic Beverages index registered an increase of 0.4 per cent, while the Non-Food index decreased by 0.1 per cent. Meanwhile, the Goods index recorded an increase of 0.1 per cent, while the Services index decreased by 0.1 per cent.

Compared to August 2025, the CPI has increased by 0.4 per cent on a month-on-month basis. Both Food and Non-Alcoholic Beverages index and the Non-Food index rose by 0.2 per cent and 0.5 per cent respectively.

Periodically, the CPI for January to September 2025 recorded a decrease of 0.3 per cent compared to the same period in 2024.
