Latest Highlights Q4 2025
In the fourth quarter (Q4) 2025, retail sales recorded a negative growth of 4.8 per cent year-on-year, after decreasing by 2.1 per cent (revised from negative 2.3 per cent) in Q3 2025. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, retail sales recorded an increase by 3.9 per cent following a decrease of 2.2 per cent (revised from negative 2.7 per cent) in Q3 2025.
The total value of retail sales in Q4 2025 was estimated at BND399.5 million. Almost one-third (25.8 per cent) was contributed by Department Stores with sales worth BND102.9 million, followed by Supermarkets (BND68.7 million or 17.2 per cent).
In terms of volume, retail sales recorded a negative growth of 5.5 per cent year-on-year in Q4 2025, after decreasing by 2.6 per cent (revised from negative 2.7 per cent) in Q3 2025. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, retail sales recorded a positive growth of 3.7 per cent after decreasing by 2.5 per cent (revised from negative 3.0 per cent) in Q3 2025.
