Latest Highlights H1 2025
In H1 2025, the current account balance continued to record a surplus amounted at BND1,636.1 million mainly supported by surplus in Goods account valued at BND2,418.6 million and Primary Income valued at BND383.5 million.
Meanwhile, the Financial account recorded a net outflow of BND1,240.0 million. This was mainly due to Other investments net outflow of BND1,558.1 million. On the other hand, Direct Investments inflows at BND283.1 million compared to BND34.5 million in 2023, this is caused by increase in equity during the first-half 2025 compared to negative equity at BND213.8 million in 2024.
